DRAIS DESCRIPTION
The name Victor Drai has been synonymous with Las Vegas for decades, beginning with his infamous after-hours nightclub. When The Cromwell was built, Drai’s rooftop nightclub and dayclub was the crowning glory. Besides the beautiful indoor-outdoor space that overlooks the Las Vegas Strip, this is the spot to see some of hip-hop music’s biggest stars take the stage for live performances. So far the roster has included heavy hitters like Cardi B, Migos, Rae Sremmurd, Future and Lil Wayne.
-
Drai's has two main areas:
-
Main Room - Indoor area with a lower level and upper balcony/mezzanine which overlooks the club.
-
Poolside Rooftop - Outdoor; which has incredible views of the strip, and also serves as Drai's Beachclub during summer months.
-
Drai's is the only venue in Vegas where you can launch fireworks from your table (for a fee, of course).
-
The poolside rooftop area has incredible views of the strip.
-
The lighting and sound setup at Drai's is one of the best in town.
DRESS CODE AT DRAIS
Most nightclubs in Las Vegas have a stringent dress code guideline for men. I don’t know why. Men can’t wear anything except a collared shirt, jeans, dress shoes, and a sports coat. Hats, athletic attire, athletic shoes, sunglass, shorts, work boots, gym clothes, and baggy clothes are not allowed. Try to avoid going into the nightclub wearing sneakers. Some expensive sneakers might be allowed. But there is no guarantee. The doorman has the power to make the final decision. If he feels that your shoe is not right, then he will show you the exit route straightway. Personal relations with doorkeepers may help you to get an entry into the nightclub wearing anything you want. But if you’re not a regular customer or a celebrity or a promoter, then you have to follow the dress code.
